Our new blog will be a place where we share the knowledge and experience we’ve built over the years, alongside the latest ideas coming from the designers, collections and fabric houses we work with.
And because Alamango has two very different—but closely connected—sides, you can expect plenty from both Bridal and Textiles departments.

We’ll take you behind the scenes of bridal fashion and explore everything from the newest wedding dress trends and designer collections to practical advice for your own bridal journey.
Expect topics such as how to prepare for your first bridal appointment, understanding different silhouettes and fabrics, choosing a veil, navigating bridal trends, dressing your bridal party and finding a gown that truly feels like you.
We’ll also be sharing some of the details we discover from the international bridal brands we work with, including Maggie Sottero, Allure Bridals, Morilee, Madi Lane, Jesús Peiró and more.
From the world of textiles…
Our Textiles team will bring you closer to the wonderful world of quality fabrics, occasionwear and made-to-measure fashion.
We’ll explore new fabrics and colours, seasonal trends, lace and embellishments, styling ideas, Mother of the Bride and Groom inspiration, occasionwear, and the skill and expertise that goes into creating something especially for you.
We also want to help demystify fabric. What is the difference between Mikado and satin? Which fabrics work best for a structured dress? What should you choose for a summer wedding? How can a beautiful fabric inspire an entire outfit?
These are exactly the kinds of questions we hope to answer.
